Statement by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan on the Situation in Ukraine

 

1. Japan is closely following the developments with concern in the Crimean peninsula of Ukraine.

 

2. Japan strongly urges all parties to respect the rule of law and the territorial integrity, and in this regard, to exert maximum restraint and act in a responsible manner.
