Mr. Usupashvili, Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, meets Mr. Muto, State Minister for Foreign Affairs

 

February 23, Mr. Muto met the delegation led by Mr. Usupashvili, Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia and exchanged opinions, as follows;

1. In response to the welcome remarks by Mr. Muto, Mr. Usupashvili explained Georgia's position towards Europe and Euro-Atlantic integration, contributing to peace and stability of international community, touching upon Georgia's geopolitical importance as a corridor bridging Europe and Asia.

2. Both sides exchanged their views on the influence of oil price collapse on Caucasus region, and Georgia's economic policy, and frankly and widely discussed measures towards developing both countries' economic relations under such circumstances.
