●What is 'DADADADAN TENKO'?

DADADADAN TENKO is a professional Japanese drumming group that was formed by Isaya Mondori in 1987. Following "Power Entertainment" as a theme, the group has built a large fan base with their unique and dramatic performances using 40 large and small Japanese drums, Tsugaru Shamisen (traditional three-stringed instruments) and Japanese flutes.

The group has held over 1,000 performances in 20 countries around the world. In 2011, they were awarded the Osaka Cultural Promotion Prize. Celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2012, they made their 7th concert tour in Europe for two months. The group hopes to spread Japanese music around the world with their dynamic activities.
