JAPANESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR 2017

(Japanese Studies Students and Teacher Training Students)

　The Government of Japan (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology: MEXT) offers scholarships to international students who wish to study at universities in Japan as Japanese Studies Students or Teacher Training Students, in the framework of the Scholarship Program for 2017. The applications should be submitted to the Embassy of Japan in Georgia no later than February 16 (Thur.), 2017.

  The Program Guidelines and the list of necessary documents for application are shown below. Please read carefully the Program Guideline. Any application missing any of the necessary documents will be automatically disqualified.

All the application documents will be examined by the Embassy. The applicants selected for the short list will be invited to take written examinations. The subjects for written examinations are as indicated on the Program Guideline.

1. JAPANESE STUDIES STUDENTS

Note: These documents must be written in either Japanese or English. Documents written in any other language must be attached with Japanese or English translation.
