National Day Reception 2020

     Ambassador Uehara hosted the National Day Reception to celebrate the birthday of H.M. Emperor of Japan on February 20 in Tbilisi. A number of guests attended the reception from a wide range of fields including the government, business circles as well as diplomatic corps and H.E. Mr. David Zalkaliani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia made a speech as the main guest.
     In addition to Tokushima Prefecture and Zenkokuren (Central Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry) which served local food products and Japanese Sake to guests, many Japanese companies introduces their products and services in the reception. A special booth was set up to promote 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games which will be held this year.
