Signing Ceremony for The Project for Providing a Heavy Machinery for Infrastructure Works in Tusheti, Akhmeta Municipality Within the Grassroots Human Security Grant Program (GGP) Of the Embassy of Japan in Georgi

On December 3, 2019, the grant contract of The Project for Providing a Heavy Machinery for Infrastructure Works in Tusheti, Akhmeta Municipality was signed within the Grassroots Human Security Grant Program, funded by the Government of Japan, based on the goodwill of the Japanese people. 
The Grant Contract was signed by the Grant Signatories: Ambassador Uehara and head of the Tusheti Development Fund (TDF) – Mr. Zurab Babulaidze. Within this project, heavy equipment will be purchased to clear roads in Tusheti and increase connectivity and mobility of Tushetians, for access to healthcare and other critical facilities. Grant Amount is 74’400 USD.
