Opening Ceremony of “The Project for Provision of Agricultural Equipment in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Region”

On November 17, 2021, the Opening Ceremony of “The Project for Provision of Agricultural Equipment in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Region” was held in Ambrolauri which has been implemented within the framework of “Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Programme” of the Government of Japan. The Ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. Imamura Akira, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia; Mayor of Ambrolauri Municipality, Mr. Davit Mkheidze; State Representative in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svanet, Mr. Papuna Margvelidze; The head of the NGO Abkhazintercont (AIC), Mr. Archil Elbakidze.
Within this project, agricultural machinery has been purchased to promote economic revitalization of the region through revival of agriculture. Grant Amount is 33,538 USD.
