Japan-Georgia Business Webinar on Renewable Energy

On November 17, Embassy of Japan in Georgia together with JETRO Istanbul Office held a Webinar on Georgia's current situation - Business Potential in the Renewable Energy Sector.
At the webinar, which was attended by 86 participants from Japan, Georgia, Turkey and other countries, Ambassador of Japan Mr. IMAMURA Akira and CEO of Enterprise Georgia Mr. Mikheil Khidureli made opening remarks. Speakers of the webinar were: Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Georgian Energy Development Fund, TEPCO Renewable Power, Inc., Japan Georgia Business Association. Parties made presentations and discussed situation and initiatives in renewable energy as well as other spheres of business in Georgia. It is hoped that through this webinar, the economic relationship between Japan and Georgia will be further developed.
