Signing Ceremony of the “Project for Provision Heavy Machinery for Infrastructural Works in Akhalgori Municipality”

On December 2, 2021, the grant contract of the Project for Provision Heavy Machinery for Infrastructural Works in Akhalgori Municipality was signed, within the framework of Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Programme of the Government of Japan.
The grant contract was signed by H.E. Mr. Imamura Akira, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia and Gamgebeli of Akhalgori Mr. Nugzar Tinikashvili.
Within this project, heavy machinery will be purchased to improve the provision of municipal infrastructural services, such as roads, sewage, drinking and drainage water systems to IDPs living in Tserovani, Tsilkani and Prezeti settlements. Grant Amount is 66,674 USD.
