Signing Ceremony of the the Project for Provision of clean drinking water to kindergartens in Guria Region

   On February 24, 2022, the grant contract of the Project for Provision of clean drinking water to kindergartens in the Guria Region was signed, within the framework of the Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Programme of the Government of Japan.
   The grant contract was signed by H.E. Mr. Imamura Akira, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia and the president of Shalom Club Guria, Mr. Zaur Osepaishvili.
   Within this project, Israeli-made drinking water filters will be installed in 38 kindergartens in the Guria region. Those kindergartens were selected based on the laboratory reports on the presence of E. coli bacteria in the drinking water. Grant Amount is 70,399 USD.
