Opening Ceremony of the Project for Construction of Kindergarten at Zanavi Village in Adigeni Municipality

On June 21, 2022, kindergarten at Zanavi village in Adigeni Municipality was opened, funded by the Government of Japan, based on the goodwill of the Japanese people. The opening ceremony was attended by H.E Mr. IMAMURA Akira, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia; Director of World Vision-Georgia, Ms. Ekaterine Gurgenadze; Mayor of Adigeni Municipality, Mr. Gocha Kimadze;
The project aims to improve access to preschool education in rural areas. The kindergarten will provide service to up to 100 children from four villages of Adigeni municipality. Grant amount from the Embassy of Japan: 72’607 USD.
