Opening of the Project for Provision of Garbage Truck in Mtskheta Municipality

On October 24, 2022 the opening ceremony was held in Mtskheta Municipality, for the project for Provision of Garbage Truck in Mtskheta Municipality. The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Mr. Imamura Akira; Mayor of Mtskheta Municipality Mr. Dimistri Zurabishvili; Chair of the organization “Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth-Georgia” and other representatives of Mtskheta Mayor’s office and Sakrebulo.
Within the project, organization “Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth-Georgia” purchased the garbage collection truck to ensure the timely collection of waste for protecting the environment and public health in 28 villages of Mtskheta Municipality. Grant amount 85,488 USD.
