Opening of “Japan Business Forum”

On November 1st “Japan Business Forum” was heldby Embassy of Japan in Georgia and Business Association of Georgia in Tbilisi to strengthen ties with Japanese business on the occasion of 30th anniversary of Japan-Georgia and Japan-Azerbaijan diplomatic relations.
At the opening ceremony congratulation message from Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry H.E. Yasutoshi Nishimura was read. Ambassador of Japan H.E. Akira Imamura, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mr. Genadi Arveladze and President of Business Association of Georgia Mr. Samson Pkhakadze made speeches.
Presentions and discussions took place in 3 Panels (Caucasus: Hub for sustainable business, Caucasus: Middle Corridor, Energy and Climate Challenge) in which representitives of govenmental and private sectors from Japan, Georgia and Azerbaijan participated.
