Opening Ceremony of The Project for “Construction of Kindergarten at Mokhe Village in Adigeni Municipality of “Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Programme” provided by the Government of Japan

On May 16, 2019, the Opening Ceremony was held in Mokhe village, in Adigeni Municipality, concerning the Project for “Construction of Kindergarten at Mokhe Village in Adigeni Municipality”, which has been implemented within the framework of “Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Programme” of the Government of Japan. The Ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. Tadaharu Uehara, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia, Governor of Samtskhe-Javakheti Region - Mr. Besil Amiranashvili, Mayor of Adigeni municipality - Mr. Zakaria Endeladze and other representatives of regional and local government.
Within the project, the Embassy of Japan has provided 66 395 USD for the construction of the kindergarten in Mokhe village in Adigeni Municipality. This project provided access to kindergarten facility for approximately 100 children. The project was implemented by the World Vision Georgia and the Opening Ceremony was hosted by its Country Director – Ms. Eka Zhvania.
