Signing Grant Contract On The Project for Provision of Mobile Intensive Care Unit in Telavi, Ambrolauri, Zugdidi and Ozurgeti Municipalities Within the Grassroots Human Security Grant Program (GGP) Of the Embassy of Japan in Georgia

On March 19/2020, the grant contract of The Project for Provision of Mobile Intensive Care Unit in Telavi, Ambrolauri, Zugdidi and Ozurgeti Municipalities was signed within the Grassroots Human Security Grant Program, funded by the Government of Japan, based on the goodwill of the Japanese people.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the Signing Ceremony was not held. The Grant Contract was signed by the Grant Signatories: Ambassador Uehara and Director of the Legal Entity Under Public Law Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center – Mr. Avtandil Talakvadze.
Within the project, mobile intensive care units (so-called Reanomobiles) will be purchased for Kakheti, Racha-Lechkhumi Kvemo Svaneti, Samergelo-Zemo Svaneti and Guria regions. The project will help save dozens of citizens every year, by offering emergency medical transportation. Grant Amount is 290,500 USD.
