Presentation of book "Sasameyuki" ("Makioka Sisters")

On June 30, presentation of book "Sasameyuki" ("Makioka Sisters") was held at the Georgian Writers' House. The book was published by the support of the Japanese Foundation in February this year. The book was translated from Japanese by Ms. Tatia Memarnishvili, a lecturer of Japanese language at Tbilisi State University. 

H.E. Imamura Akira, Ambassador of Japan, Ms. Tamar Lebanidze, director of the "Diogene Publishing House," Ms. Natalia Lomouri, director of the Writers' House, Mr. Kojima Yasuhiro, professor of Georgian studies and other honorable guests attended the event. 

Ms. Tatia Memarnishvili Memarnishvili talked not only about the book but also about Japanese literature.
