Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Ishizuka Hideki’s greeting at “Japanese Culture Day” event at Georgian School Tbilisi

On November 2, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia, H.E. Mr. Ishizuka Hideki, made a greeting speech at “Japanese Culture Day” event, which was held at Georgian School Tbilisi. A choir in Japanese language, as well as Mr. Usui Toshiki’s (Honorary citizen of Sighnaghi) piano concert were also held.
Since the establishment in 1995, Georgian school Tbilisi has provided Japanese language and culture education and has contributed to the promotion of understanding Japan among Georgian children. In honour of their achievements, on February 3, 2023, the ceremony was held for awarding Georgian School Tbilisi with Commendation of Foreign Minister of Japan.
