Opening Ceremony of the Project for Provision of Garbage Collection Truck in Adigeni Municipality

On June 18, 2024, the opening ceremony was held in Adigeni Municipality, for the Project for Provision of Garbage Collection Truck in Adigeni Municipality. The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. ISHIZUKA Hideki, the Ambassador of Japan; Mr. Shota Rostiashvili – Deputy State representative in Samtskhe-Javakheti region; Mr. Giorgi Mikeladze, Deputy State representative in Samtskhe-Javakheti region; Mr. Gocha Kimadze –Mayor of Adigeni Municipality. Mr. Jemal Kimadze – Director of Adigeni Amenities and Cleaning Service.
The project provides one garbage collection truck, which will increase the total garbage collection rate in the municipality from approximately 40% to 70% and improve the living environment for approximately 6,880 residents of the 30 villages and protect the environment.
The project funding amount is 78,690 USD.
