Ambassador’s Commendation Ceremony of Ms. Irine Danelia

On December 20, at the Ambassador’s official residence, Ambassador Ishizuka presented the Ambassador’s Commendation Award to the Director of the National Botanical Garden of Georgia, Ms. Irine Danelia.
Ms. Danelia, after assuming her post in 2021, has contributed to the promotion of bilateral cultural exchange between Japan and Georgia by organizing the “Cherry Blossom Festival” in the Japanese Garden at the National Botanical Garden and also providing the venue for the “Tea Ceremony Lecture and Demonstration” organized by the Embassy.
On this day, Ambassador Ishizuka presented Ms. Danelia with a certificate of commendation in recognition of her achievement in promoting friendship and goodwill between Japan and Georgia through cultural exchange. Deputy Director of the Botanical Garden, Ms. Tinatin Barblishvili and Head of Administration, Ms. Rusudan Gogisvanidze were also present at the ceremony.
