On May 1, Ambassador of Japan H.E. Mr. Ishizuka Hideki was invited as a lecturer to the lecture series “Meeting with the Ambassador” organized by the private think tank “Civic IDEA,” where he delivered a lecture on Japan's foreign policy and bilateral relations between Japan and Georgia to approximately 35 students majoring in international relations.
The Ambassador provided an overview of Japan's foreign policy centered by “FOIP”and, highlighting the geopolitical, historical and cultural similarities between Japan and Georgia, lectured prospects for future. The students actively asked questions, demonstrating their high level of interest in the topic.
