The Embassy of Japan in Georgia announces a vacancy for a Secretary to cover the job responsibilities as follows. The Embassy is looking for staff who can start working from the end of July 2025.

A. Job responsibilities:
- Preparing and conducting Embassy’s cultural and academic events and activities
- Communication with Georgian partners, the diplomatic corps, international organizations and other relevant entities by phone, e-mail and in person
- Translation and Interpretation between Georgian, English and Japanese
- Managing schedules for the diplomats, including arrangements of the appointments, and undertaking receptionist duties
- Drafting of letters and other documents
- Reference task on Georgian and Japanese cultural, academic and sports topics
B. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Georgian and English (working-level Japanese language skill equivalent to level 2 (N.2) or higher of the Japanese-Language Proficiency test, or C1 level or higher of the Japanese Language Communication Ability Test s also required.)
- Solid command of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Solid understanding of both Georgian society and Japanese culture
- Cooperative personality and positive attitude
- Team-oriented personality
C. Conditions:
- Full-time employee position to begin in the end of July 2025 (There will be a trial period in the first three months).
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:45 (Lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00)
- Some overtime and business trip may be required occasionally.
- Salary: Complied with the provisions of the Embassy
