Georgia–Japan Business Forum 2026
On March 6, the Embassy of Japan in Georgia, in partnership with the Georgia–Japan Business Association and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Istanbul Office, co-hosted the Georgia–Japan Business Forum 2026 in Tbilisi with the support of leading business institutions.
Held under the theme “Japanese Business in Georgia—A Bridge Towards the Middle Corridor,” the Forum brought together senior government officials, Japanese and Georgian business representatives to discuss opportunities for deeper cooperation in investment, renewable energy, green financing, infrastructure, and logistics.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was also signed between the Embassy of Japan and the Georgia–Japan Business Association, marking an important step in strengthening institutional and business ties.
Ambassador of Japan to Georgia H.E. Mr. Ishizuka Hideki highlighted the timeliness of the Forum’s theme and underlined Georgia’s pivotal and growing role along the Middle Corridor, particularly in logistics, transport, and people-to-people exchange. He also noted Japan’s “CA+JAD Tokyo Initiative,” launched in December 2025, as a framework expected to support regional connectivity and create new opportunities for Georgia.
The Embassy of Japan extends its sincere appreciation to all supporters, partners, speakers, and participants whose contributions made the Forum a success.
