Visit of Mr. Saito Keisuke, Mayor of Yoichi town, Hokkaido prefecture, to Georgia

On 28 March, Ambassador Hideki Ishizuka visited Gurjaani together with Mr. Saito Keisuke, Mayor of Yoichi town, Hokkaido prefecture, who is currently visiting Georgia.
During the visit, they held meetings with Mr. Platon Kalmakhelidze, Governor of Kakheti Region, and Mr. Giorgi Machavariani, Mayor of Gurjaani Municipality. The discussions focused on cooperation between the municipalities of Japan and Georgia.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the development of friendly exchanges and cooperation relations was signed.
