Japanese Tea serving at “Sakura Blossom Time” at the Georgian National Botanical Garden in Tbilisi

On 5 April, Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Mr. ISHIZUKA Hideki, along with director Ms. Irine Danelia, attended “Sakura Blossom Time” event (4-5 April) hosted by the National Botanical Garden Tbilisi in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Georgia. This is an annual event held in conjunction with the blooming of Japanese cherry blossom Sakura planted in the park, this year marks the sixth iteration of the event.
The Ambassador held short lecture and demonstration of Japanese tea at the Japanese garden. Distinguished guests had the opportunity to enjoy traditional Japanese green tea, served by Embassy chef and Residence staff.
