Manga Handover Ceremony to the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University

On April 21, H.E. Mr. Ishizuka Hideki, Ambassador of Japan to Georgia attended the ceremony marking a 345-volume manga donation to the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. These collections are donated by Mr. Usui Toshiki, pianist. 

Rector Dr. Tite Aroshidze, members of the university administration, a Japanese language teacher, and Japanese studies students were in attendance for the ceremony.

Following the words of gratitude delivered by the Rector Dr. Aroshidze, Ambassador Ishizuka expressed his appreciation for the university’s cooperation. He also conveyed his hope that the donated books would provide common language to communicate with Japanese young generation, enhance interest in and understanding of Japan, and encourage greater motivation for the study of the Japanese language and culture at the university.
