Ambassador Ishizuka Attends Opening Ceremony for the Liaison Office of the University of Tsukuba at Ilia State University
On May 17, H.E. Mr. Ishizuka Hideki, Ambassador of Japan to Georgia attended the opening ceremony for the liaison office of the University of Tsukuba at Ilia State University.
In his remarks at the ceremony, Ambassador Ishizuka emphasized this significance of the close academic ties between Japan and Georgia and expressed his hope that the opening of this new liaison office would serve as an opportunity to further invigorate academic and scientific cooperation and student exchange programs between the two countries. The Ambassador also expressed his hope that this office would serve as an important platform for researchers and students from Japan and Georgia to achieve their common goals.
The ceremony was attended by the president and the rector of both the University of Tsukuba and Ilia State University, as well as other officials.
