Ambassador Ishizuka delivers opening remark to introduce the lecture by President of the University of Tsukuba at Georgian American University (GAU)

On 3 August, Ambassador Ishizuka Hideki delivered opening remark to introduce the lecture delivered by Dr. Prof. Kyosuke Nagata, President of the University of Tsukuba, Japan, hosted by the Georgian American University (GAU) with the support of the Embassy of Japan in Georgia.
The event brought together representatives of University of Tsukuba and GAU, including university leadership, academics and students, and provided an opportunity to discuss prospects for further academic and institutional cooperation between Japan and Georgia.
As part of the programme, Dr. Prof. Nagata delivered a lecture entitled “Beyond Borders: From Nations and Disciplines to Innovation Ecosystems.” Prof. Spartak Khutsishvili also delivered a lecture on Magnetic Nanomaterials.
