Signing Ceremony for “The Project for Establishing Laboratory for Honey Testing in Ambrolauri Municipality” within the Grassroots Human Security Grant Program (GGP) of the Embassy of Japan in Georgia

On March 9, 2021, the grant contract of “The Project for Establishing Laboratory for Honey Testing in Ambrolauri Municipality” was signed within the Grassroots Human Security Grant Program, funded by the Government of Japan, based on the goodwill of the Japanese people.
The Grant Contract was signed by the Grant Signatories: Ambassador Imamura and Head of the Board of Agro-Service Consulting – Mr. Irakli Javakhishvili. Within the project, laboratory equipment will be purchased for honey testing in Ambrolauri, which will enable to provide laboratory examinations and provide quality certificates, for enabling more competitiveness of local farmers and for promotion of food safety in Georgia. Grant Amount is 82,252 USD.
