On August 10, 2023, the opening ceremony was held in Khelvachauri Municipality, for the project for Provision of Heavy Equipment in Khelvachauri Municipality. The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. ISHIZUKA Hideki, the Ambassador of Japan; Representatives of central, regional and local government.
The heavy machinery will be used to clear roads to reduce the vulnerability of the local community to natural disaster and to strengthen preparedness and coping capabilities of the local governments. Grant Amount is 75,352 USD.
