Opening Ceremony of the Project for Provision of High Mobility Ambulances in Chokhatauri and Kazbegi Municipalities

On September 27, 2023, the opening ceremony was held in Kazbegi Municipality for the Project for Provision of High Mobility Ambulances in Chokhatauri and Kazbegi Municipalities. The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Mr. ISHIZUKA Hideki; Director of the Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center – Mr. Aleksandre Kutibashvili;  Representatives of regional and local government. 

Within the project, 2 high-mobility ambulances with modern medical equipment have been purchased for Chokhatauri and Kazbegi Municipalities to support human security and emergency management field. These vehicles are designed for mountainous area to ensure timely access to medical care and significantly decrease the waiting time for emergency patients. The grant amount is 140 000 USD.
