Ambassador of Japan, H.E. ISHIZUKA joined the “Cherry Blossom Festival” at the Georgian National Botanical Garden

On April 13, Ambassador of Japan, H.E. ISHIZUKA Hideki, together with his spouse, participated in the “Cherry Blossom Festival”, at the Georgian National Botanical Garden in Tbilisi. At the beginning Director of the Botanical Garden, Ms. Irine Danelia, led a tour of the Japanese Garden, then at the central venue, Ambassador ISHIZUKA gave a calligraphy demonstration. Georgian polyphony choir sang “Sakura Sakura”. In addition, Japanese culture enthusiasts in Georgia demonstrated their own calligraphy, tea ceremony, and sushi making masterclass, which have further deepened the friendship between Japan and Georgia.
