Opening Ceremony of the “Project for Provision of Heavy Equipment for Forest Fire Response and Prevention in Adjara”

On July 29, 2024, the opening ceremony was held in Adjara, for the Project for Provision of Heavy Equipment for Forest Fire Response and Prevention in Adjara.
The Ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. ISHIZUKA Hideki; Mr. Zaza Shavadze – Ministry of Agriculture of Ajara Autonomous Republic; Mr. Jumber Abuladze – Head of Forestry Agency of Adjara; Ms. Ketevan Samadashvili and Ms. Lela Janashia– Board members of “Community and Environment."
Within this project, heavy machinery was purchased to strengthen the Adjara Autonomous Republic's forest fire response and disaster prevention capabilities. Enabling approximately 361,000 inhabitants to enjoy a safe and secure living environment. Grant Amount is 69,000 USD.
