Opening Ceremony of the “Project for Provision of Medical Equipment in Tusheti, Akhmeta Municipality”

On August 20, 2024, the opening ceremony was held in Tusheti, for the Project for Project for Provision of Medical Equipment in Tusheti, Akhmeta Municipality.
The Ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. ISHIZUKA Hideki; Mr. Aleksi Pitskhelauri – Mayor of Akhmeta Municipality; Mr. Lado Kakhoidze – Director of Tusheti Protected Landscape; Mr. Zurab Babulaidze– Chairman of Tusheti Development Foundation; Rati Kochlamazashvili – Co-founder and Director of Tusheti Development Foundation.
Within this project, local ambulatory center was rehabilitated and medical equipment was purchased to enhance access for approximately 2, 800 local people to healthcare services. Grant Amount is 87,256 USD
