Visit of Ambassador to Aomori Prefecture

During his business trip to Japan, Ambassador of Japan to Georgia Mr. ISHIZUKA Hideki, visited Towada city and Hachinohe city in Aomori Prefecture on March 24, where he exchanged opinions with the members of “Towada Barayaki Seminar” and “VISIT Hachinohe”, which are working on community revitalization, on possible ways to deepen partnership between Aomori Prefecture and Georgia and to promote Aomori’s local products overseas. The Ambassador also visited a local vegetable processing factory in Rokunohe town and a Japanese sake brewery in Hachinohe city.
On March 25, the Ambassador paid courtesy visits to Mr. Komiyama Yoshinori, Misawa city mayor and Ms. Sakurada Yuriko, Towada city mayor, respectively to exchange views on the promotion of regional cooperation between Japan and Georgia.
It must be noted that Mr. HATANAKA Hiroyuki, headmaster of “Towada Barayaki Seminar”, provided huge support during this trip.
