Ambassador Ishizuka Attends Opening Ceremony at Business and Technology University (BTU)

On May 16, 2025, Ambassador Hideki Ishizuka participated in the opening ceremony of the iamtheCODE AI Institute at the Business and Technology University (BTU) in Tbilisi at the invitation of BTU Rector Nino Enukidze and delivered a congratulatory address. The institute was established with support from iamthecode, an organization promoting AI for women in Africa and around the world. The initiative was built on the success of a vocational training program for Ukrainian female refugees at BTU, implemented by UNWOMEN, funded by the Japanese government’s supplementary budget.
