Ambassador Ishizuka attended 30th anniversary event of the Georgian School Tbilisi

On 29 November, Ambassador Ishizuka Hideki attended the 30th years anniversary ceremony of foundation of the Georgian School Tbilisi and made a speech.
In April 2025, the principal of the school, Dr. Eter Svanidze, was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the development of Japanese language education in Georgia and to the promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and Georgia. The Georgian School Tbilisi also received the Foreign Minister’s Commendation in February 2023. This year marks the 30th year anniversary of the Japanese language education at the school.
