Embassy of Japan in Georgia held the 3rd Japanese Language Speech Contest

On 14 December, the Embassy of Japan in Georgia held the 3rd Japanese Language Speech Contest at the Free University of Tbilisi. The contest has been held since 2023 with the aim of providing participants with an opportunity to present the results of their daily Japanese language studies, to share the experiences and knowledge they have gained through learning Japanese, and to further promote understanding of Japanese culture. This year, a total of 21 participants took part from Tbilisi and other cities. At the closing ceremony, Ambassador Ishizuka Hideki delivered remarks and presented certificates of commendation.
This year, due to the large number of applicants, the contest was divided into three categories: Beginner (School Students), Beginner (University Students and Senior Participants), and Intermediate-Advanced Category.
Each Category’s topics and results are given below:
