Opening Ceremony of the "Project for Provision of Heavy Equipment for Disaster Response and Disaster Risk Reduction in Tsageri Municipality"

On July 8, 2024, the opening ceremony was held in Tsageri Municipality, for the Project for Provision of Heavy Equipment for Disaster Response and Disaster Risk Reduction in Tsageri Municipality.
The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. ISHIZUKA Hideki, the Ambassador of Japan; Mr. Aluda Tutisani - Deputy State Representative in Racha – Lechkhum Kvemo Svaneti region; Mr. Tchabuki Tchabukiani - Chairman of Tsageri Municipality Council; Mr. Levan Zalkaliani –Mayor of Tsageri Municipality.
The project provides one heavy machinery, which will enable quickly and effectively respond to avalanches, landslides, floods, landslides, and other disasters that occur throughout the year, and ensure a secure and safe living environment of approximately 7,200 residents. Grant Amount is 70,500 USD.
