Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Mr. Ishizuka Hideki delivered a speech at the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between KEK and GTU

On October 15, Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Mr. Ishizuka Hideki attended the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between KEK (High Energy Accelerator Research Organization) and Georgian Technical University (GTU) at the University and delivered a speech as a guest of honor. The two institutions have been conducting joint research and other activities since 2014, and the signing ceremony will be an opportunity for further collaboration to stimulate research exchange in the field of high-energy physics.
 
In his opening remarks, the Ambassador said, “I am very pleased with this signing ceremony as it promotes friendly relations between Japan and Georgia. I hope that academic exchange between Japan and Georgia will further increase in the future. The Embassy also intends to support academic exchange between Japan and Georgia, and we hope that GTU students will actively participate in the Japanese Government Scholarship Program (MEXT)”.
