Ambassador Ishizuka delivered opening remark at the official opening of the Japanese Ink Painting Exhibition by Ichiro Kikuta at the International Handmade Printing Festival

On 18 December, Ambassador Ishizuka Hideki delivered opening remark at the official opening of 9th edition of International Handmade-Printing Festival  at the Zurab Tsereteli Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in Tbilisi, co-featuring the exhibition of Japanese Ink Painting by Okinawan Artist, Ichiro Kikuta,  which is held in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall and Zurab Tsereteli Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), organised by Art Caucasus Foundation.
 
The exhibition marks the second presentation of an Okinawan Artist Mr. Ichiro Kikuta in Georgia, following the solo exhibition at Ajara Art Museum under the framework of Batumi Black Sea Music and Art Festival 2025.
 
Mr. Ichiro Kikuta conducted the live performance of painting at the opening of the festival.
 
The exhibition of Japanese Ink Painting will remain open until 18 January 2026.
